I likes it. Maybe I'll finally use Firefox for something over IE or Opera if it means I can snag sets posted on ImageVenue without all the click, right click, close, wash, rinse, repeat...

So here's an update. The new version 1.0.1 clears the download list from the download manager as it downloads the pictures. If you download too much, firefox gets real boggy until you clean up the list.

Also, if anyone needs any help installing the extension, let me know.
It basically boils down to opening the file with firefox.

matt, I think this would be better suited to Technix. It might also go in Suggestions/Bugs/Problems, but the Technix forum seems to be the more logical place to put this, if not on both forums. Maybe an admin/mod can tell you more.

I'll give it a run later on. I haven't gotten around to downloading this or Firefox (not installed ATM). Probably later on tonight, after I locate something to eat.

I posted one in this same forum last week. Mods didn't seem to mind. For those who don't use mozilla or don't want to install an extensionf or some reason go here. There's two different programs; one for Imagevenue and one for several different sites.

Ah yes, If I had been smart enough to find those ahead of time, I probably would have never bothered to put together that extension.

But, on the bright side, it works nicely within the web browser.... and it won't take much effort to add support for other image hosts.

On other note, I have future plans to make a thread leecher... the idea is to go through a thread, page by page, find images, and download them. You could just let it go all night, all day, whatever.

What do you guys think?

I haven't used the plugin, but I've used the external program for Imagevenue and it works great. I assume the other will basically work the same.

I've used it, and it's not bad. the only downside is that it ties up firfox while it's downloading. but hey, it's better than right click save.

That's to be expected, I would think. So I can't really see a downside to any of these.
