Just when I steer some incredible artists from devianart to this anime haven a month ago the site is down and I can't get in touch with the guys.
What happened?

quite often with these sites they end up having to shut due to them having copyrighted material on there site. and if this is a bifg anime/hentai site then the odds were they had to close down due to legal reasons

On the contrary, WWOEC.com is usually the one doing the shutting down of other sites. For those who aren't familiar with it, Weird World Of Erotic Comics hosts mini-sites for hentai artists to show off their work. Last I saw, it had a crap free section (with the exception of Pandora's Box's free section, the creator of the "Kamehasutra" doujin), and an awesome members section.
