Cam videos

Hey,

First time viewer and poster here.....great forum :)
I have read the TOS and can't find anything which is against what I am about to do. If however I am wrong kindly delete this post ASAP.

I have just launched an Amateur cam site, not to make money (since its free to use) but rather for the fun of it. Well I hope the banners will contribute to pay the server bill :)

Anyway....I am basically looking for some cam videos to play on my site - my hosting and BW (I have a good connection with unlimited BW) I am about to promote it, but it is a bit empty as it is now, which is why I thought of the idea of cam videos.

Is it viable or will I piss alot of people off by doing so?

Firstly thanks for reading the DS rules and not just going ahead and doing it anyway. That would have pissed a lot of people off, and may have ended in a banhammer, and so forth (well okay, maybe not a bamhammer but still wouldn't have been cool)

Advertising outright is kinda frowned upon here. What I suggest you do, is contact the Admins of the site, to see if you can be accepted as a webmaster, then you can promote it on your profile, and in your sig. Then, the more you post, the more people see your sig and check out your site, and so on and so forth. :) You don't have to post content or anything, just make yourself known around here!

Maybe I was not clear in my post.

I am not trying to promote here, yes I have included my site in my sig but I have also linked back to this site :) I guess it should be OK then.

Just to be safe, I will remove it after this post, I can always ad it later.

What I am looking for is cam videos that I can stream on my site before I start to promote it. (elsewhere)

You can leave it on your profile, that's not breaking any rules at all, it's only if it's in your sig it breaks rules.

The idea of a free site for streaming cam vids is viable, muchly so.

So basically whay I am "offering" is a place where either me or any other member here guys/gals can stream their videos ---> or themself.

Yes and no.
I see many videos posted, which should be enough for a start.

I look for both, as I said in my first post I will start to promote soon.

Seeing that there is little point promoting a more or less empty site, I thought of the idea to have some recorded cams playing :)

Theres a few million recorded cams out on the net you could download and them upload and stream from your server.
As for members live streaming their own cams,,have you got the software for them to download to enable them to do it,,or have you got the software on the server for them to connect to.
Other than that,,find a site like Daily Motion for example and embed the vids from there

No software is need for the users, it all run on my server using red5
