No updates, sites do not work...

CyberMatt, if u read this. Please update it! PLEASE!!! You developed such a great tool, but it's not that helpful anymore.

Well, cybormatt doesn't really ow us anything and I'm sure he has some very good reasons that keep him from working on the extension.

However, I'm a little bit disappointed that he didn't at least take a minute or two to update the announcement on http://cybormatt.googlepages.com
or post in this part of the form to keep us updated about his current situation ...

We certainly shouldn't have any sense of entitlement but it's always a shame if great little tools like this have to die when the original developer doesn't have the time or desire to update them any more.
If that is the case I would love to see at least a small effort to pass on development and maintenance to someone else.

What sites do not work? Maybe I can help you. Some problems can be fixed changing only the hosts file, for example, imagebam is really easy to fix.

I don't hit imagebam, but would like to see how you alter the host file on it.

I realized that the v1.5.1 beta 8 works well on imagebam. But you can change the host file to make the v1.4.2 work too. This is the code:

<searchpattern>"ID: the_image"</searchpattern>

I just changed the search pattern, replacing "ID: image" with "ID: the_image".

Well ive been trying to use this tool countless times and it never seemed to work for me... After reading this post... I tried again.

Worked on Mypublicpix and then i made the edit to imagebam mentioned above...Work Flawlessly!!!!

So excited!!!

Maybe we should start a post just on Hosts that are bad and their corrections if anyone has them...
