WMP 9/10 Screenshottutorial

I think there is already one by Deady, but couldn't find it :D

It is pretty easy to make a screenshot with the WMP 9/10. But you have to change something in the configuration else you will only have ab lck boxin stead of the screenshot.

So 1st open your WMP 9/10 (sry for the german)

then click on the options field and go to perfomance (just translated form german no idea whether it is called performance)

then move the bar which you can see into the mid or the left (the left means you won't be able to make a fullscreenwindow)

then you restart your WMP 9/10 and open the video you wanted to make screencaps from. Push the printscreen key next to F12 and then open mspaint, paste into it and then save the pics. Now you only have to upload it and you have made a screencap :D

i find a simpler way to get captures from videos and dvds is the bs player. works very well all you do is hit the "p" key.

Yep, I've been using bs player for years already and it works great for Screenshots :wink:

alright cool. i will check that out. now i've been trying to get a gif to work. and but when i made it i made it to big and now i just have to fix it. it has 78 pictures. i saved dead souljas avatar and it had like 63. but i'm having troulbe making mine appear normal speed. maybe i can find something better for gif makers here.

Thanks Mort and Snook, for the info and hook up. My WM player didn't want to do the captures for whatever reason, but I got this to work. Pics turned out great. This will be a usefull tool in the near future.
