server trouble?

Every once in a while (say every second day or so) I get this...

...When i open the page. Sometimes if i leave it for a while and try again it works ok but other times its gone for the night.

What gives?

too many people trying to connect. garv has said they will be switching to a new server soon.

yeah maybe server problems coz' of too much visitors

but maybe they just switched the server who knows?

yes it was too many people trying to access the server at once. we had about 6000 people at any one point trying to access the site for about 5 hours today. just can't handle it. Kalgor the site admin guy has been testing other servers, we should be moving to his new server soon, he's been telling me that for the past 3 weeks but maybe next weekend. I hope.

yeah we normally start crashing out around 3000/hour but today fwe people linked to the missy taylor and the July 4th babes. so a lot more people were trying to enter the site.

yeah this usually happens about 1:00am to me, and yesterday It wouldnt come up again, but nice to know its going to be fixed :)
