Its my thing, that and porn.

take paintball
replace the paintball gun with an airsoft gun, 1:1 ratio perfect replica firearm that can shoot out plastic BBs at 300-450fps at a rate of 800rpm.
Replace the retarded neon clothing with real military gear.
Replace the paintball field with military training grounds or miles of un-cut bush

and you get airsoft, the closest thing to the real thing.

pratically every gun is in airsoft and fully customizable.

A couple of my mates are really into airsoft skirmishing here in the England, they're trying to get me to go with them but a bit short of cash at the minute to get all the kit.
Hopefully going to borrow another mates Styer (sp?) AUG rifle in a couple of weeks and go to a CQB thing at some dis-used factory :D

I've seen pics of that place. It has good games from what I can tell.
Though the Uk is having terrible legal battles to keep airsoft alive.

Its an expensive game. My handgun with 4 mags ran me $600CDN, and my upgraded rifle is pushing $1,200CDN....not to mention $700CDN in gear.

fun stuff though, the place where we play is 55 acres and has many buildings built, a city bus and we looking into getting a DC9 aircraft body. My team is the biggest around and most are military...heck, we even have a hovercraft :)

I'm not really a fan of these kinda stuff.... Even Paintball.
I don't like anything that deals with guns.
But I guess it could be a cool sport

What does it feel like to get shot with an airsoft weapon?

I guess it's painful seeing how fast the plastic balls go....

no, thats a bit far south for us. we have 1 division in Ottawa and 1 division in Toronto. I think the toronto squad goes there from time to time.
I didnt play this weekend, but a few of our boys went to op colorblind in Quebec and others went to the Bowmanville field.

as for getting hit, it can hurt, stings depending on range and if the gun is upgraded. Bleeders are rare....occasional welts happen from time to time...other then that, its not bad.
