avi files not opening

hey just wondering if any one out there might be able to help me..I cannot play avi files on my comp...does any one know how to fix it?? Im currently using media player... Thanks a hole bunch

maybe an update on the codecs, try the DivX codecs

what version of media player are u usin?

are you using 9 or ten, oh well don't matter wmp (9 or 10) should play avi files with out having to add or update codecs, acorrding to there info. try updating like garv said and if that don't work you could find a differetn player or reinstall wmp 10
